1 week ago, today, we reduced our staff at the facility to essential operations. Leading up to that, we had a lot of decisions to make. Everyone of those decisions was based on our desire to deliver products to our consumers in the safest was possible for our employees.
In the last 7 days, we seem to have done the best we can. We should be proud of those who can and have helped. In every case, anyone who has been asked has offered to help. I know that if we asked, even more would say yes. For that, I am eternally grateful.
Consumers still want our products. Stickers, Marine Components, Air Intakes and Headers, there is still a desire for the product. So far, our online business remains strong. Apparently, people have some free time on their hands to install our products. Some boat manufacturers are starting to shut down temporarily. Our distributors have been a little slower, but we just put more inventory into their warehouses than we have probably ever had. Our decision to ship everything we could, made our product available to consumers in a record way. Now, we help them sell it so we will have as many orders as possible when we return.
That return to work for everyone is what I am focused on. We continue to look for every opportunity to put all of you in the best position possible. We are looking at all of the new laws, bills, and the ever- changing landscape of benefits, to ensure we can make the best decisions for all of you.
I know many of you are anxious to know what happens next week. I want to assure you that we are working on it. We are not taking this lightly. We will continue to look for every avenue to make sure that you are able to best provide for your families in this crazy time. As soon as we believe we have the best answer, we will let you know.
In the meantime, please, stay healthy and stay connected. Text, Email, Video, or even commenting below, please find a way to reach out to one another. We need each other to get through this.
